About Me

Salāmun ʿAlaykum!

My name is Salwa Mawji and I am a registered social worker in Ontario, Canada. I earned my MSW from the University of Toronto, and I have a BSW from York University.

I believe in seeing clients from a compassionate, strengths-based approach and will work collaboratively with you to establish goals that address your most pressing concerns in order to move forward with living a full and meaningful life. I have worked with a variety of different backgrounds and populations including children/youth and their families, couples, and adults. My expertise is in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, parenting challenges, self-esteem issues, stress and relationship difficulties.

I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading a good book, or trying out new coffee shops in my area.
