I’m a dedicated and qualified mental health professional with a diverse educational background. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a Masters in Mental Health. I have also earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Windsor and am a Registered Social Worker and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.
In my practice, I bring a unique blend of psychological insight and social work expertise. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, acceptance, and often, a touch of humor. Creating a safe and validating space is my top priority, ensuring individuals facing life stressors and mental health challenges feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and concerns authentically. Moreover, I generally draw on an eclectic therapeutic approach grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. Personal experiences and the stories shared with me professionally have profoundly shape the way I practice.
In my free time, I like to read and travel. My favorite destination is Karbala—it’s a spiritual journey that truly rejuvenates my soul.
