About Me

Salāmun ʿAlaykum!

I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have earned a Master’s in Social Work from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. I have completed numerous trainings in various psychotherapy modalities including EFT, ACT, DBT, CBT, and SFBT.

I believe successful therapy begins with a warm and welcoming environment which then allows us to delve deeper into the exploration of thoughts, emotions and beliefs while suspending judgement. Through our work together I hope we can engage in self-reflection, foster willingness, and provide meaningful skills and techniques.

I am passionate about removing the stigma associated with therapy, especially for men, and ensuring access for all who are interested in improving their mental health. Alongside my role as a therapist, I work as a hospital social worker supporting parents of children with autism.
